Activison Announces First Person Shooter Walking Dead Game
First person shooter Walking Dead game coming 2013
Activision has announced today a Walking Dead first person shooter. This game will based on the TV show not to confuse it with TellTales Walking Dead game which is based of the graphic novel.
Developed by Terminal Reality, The Walking Dead will revolve around Daryl Dixon and his brother Merle on a “haunting, unforgiving quest to make their way to the supposed safety of Atlanta.” Players will control Daryl as they attempt to avoid detection from zombies that hunt using sight, sound and smell and will choose between fighting them or using stealth to avoid detection.
“No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside in this new, post-apocalyptic world.” Supplies will be short in the game and you must scavenge for ammo and food. Also you will meet characters in the game that you can let tag along or not. The game will also feature decision making which will affect the story of the game. By the way they describe it it sounds like they are taking a lot of the Arma 2 dayz mod which has been highly successful.
The game will release sometime 2013 for Xbox, PS3 and, PC. No other details are available but you can check out the new site for up coming details.
