If you consider yourself part of the PC master race then you’ve probably heard of a little game franchise called Arma; the ultra-realistic military fps shooter mostly known for the mod, Day Z. Now, Bohemia Interactive has release the third installment which aims to be more noob friendly then the previous installments.

Now if are a die-hard Arma fan and like that it takes a certain skill level and dedication to be good at the game. You might be freaking out over the words noob friendly. Well don’t  instead of making fundamental changes to the gameplay, the team at Bohemia have included a series a short “Showcase” missions and a selection of firing range challenges.

Today on the Playstation blog we got more details on The Last of Us pre-orders,DLC, and the season pass which you can read the full statement below.

The Last of Us arrives in just a few weeks. We’re happy to let you know you can pre-order the full digital edition of the game starting today on the PlayStation Store. The game will be a Day 1 Digital download — this means you can get it at midnight on June 14th. The digital edition features a unique download installer which will allow you to start playing the game once the game data is a little over half way downloaded.

The Last of Us is a universe rich in character and story with many facets that we could potentially explore for years. We’re getting started by announcing that there will be three packs of downloadable content for The Last of Us available after the game launches.

Details have emerged on the Metro: Last Light season pass.

Have you been wondering what exactly will come in that Metro: Last Light season pass. Well wonder no more for I have the details of the season pass!

The season pass will include three dlc that will come out during the summer.

The Faction Pack and the Chronicles Pack include new, original single-player gameplay excpanding on the story and the game universe, while the Tower Pack will provide some “unique” solo challenges to veterans of the game.There’s also the Developer Pack will give “creative players interesting tools with which to explore the world of Metro.”

“Artyom’s story may have been concluded in Metro: Last Light, but there are other characters with stories to tell, some familiar locations that fans of the Metro series wanted to revisit, and some new challenges that 4A wanted to explore,” said Andrew Prokhorov, creative director at 4A Games.Since completing the game we have been working on these new stories and hope to release them throughout the summer.”

The Metro: Last Light Season pass is also available to download starting today on PSN and XBL as well as Steam for $14.99 or 1200 MS Points. PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab an additional 25% discount on the Season Pass between May 21 and June 4t in the US and May 22 and June 5 in Europe and the rest of the world.

The Season Pass also grants an additional weapon, a semi-automatic shotgun rifle with a secondary fire mode shooting six shells in one blast. It’s called the Abzats.

The Faction Pack will be the first DLC released and it will arrive in June.

The Sims 4 will be coming to your PC or Mac sometime next year

EA has announced today that The Sims 4 will be coming out next year for both PC and Mac.

EA’s put up an official announcement post on its website –

Their continued devotion to the franchise ignites the fire of creativity of the team at The Sims Studio, driving them to continually improve and innovate on one of the world’s most successful simulation game that has sold more than 150 million copies worldwide.” “The Sims 4 celebrates the heart and soul of the Sims themselves, giving players a deeper connection with the most expressive, surprising and charming Sims ever in this single-player offline experience,” it reads. “The Sims 4 encourages players to personalize their world with new and intuitive tools while offering them the ability to effortlessly share their creativity with friends and fans.”

Yup you read that right the game will not require an internet connection to play it. looks like they don’t want a repeat of what happened with SimCity.

2K has decided to not attained E3 this year

No I’m not joking  2k will not have a booth this year at E3. Below is the official statement of 2K.

At 2K, we’re excited for the new opportunities coming with the next generation of hardware, and are hard at work preparing our announced titles for release. While 2K will not have a booth on the show floor at this year’s E3 conference, we will have a lot of great news coming your way this spring. Our slate of titles coming this year include highly anticipated games like Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Brave New WorldXCOM: Enemy Unknown for iOS,  more content for Borderlands 2, as well as WWE 2K14 and NBA 2K14. Well there you have it. But look on the bright side at least we’re going to get some more Borderlands content and see what 2K can do with the WWE license.

New Metal Gear Solid collection coming to the PS3

Looks like we’re getting another Metal Gear collection. Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy will be coming to North and South America in June. The Legacy Collection includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition.

The collection will also include two graphic novels by Ashley Wood and, as a bonus for MGS 3, the MSX originals Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. The collection does not include Portable Ops, the only console game released under the Solid title which did not make the cut. This collection is only going to be available on the PS3.
