Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, Movie, And Social Game Announced
During last night’s Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary celebration in Japan, Hideo Kojima unveiled several new Metal Gear related projects including the long rumored Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation and a new social game called Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops for the Japanese GREE platform. However, the most exciting reveal was of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, a new game which will use the brand new Fox Engine. While a trailer hasn’t been released, other websites have described the trailer as showing Big Boss (sporting a Militaires San Frontiers patch on his suit, placing this game after Peace Walker) in a large area, crawling to avoid searchlights, stealthily killing a guard, and entering a jeep to call for an evac helicopter. Those who saw the trailer also pointed out that the game is supposedly an open world adventure, which sounds pretty sweet for a new Metal Gear Solid title. No word yet on which platforms the game will be released for, though it’s safe to assume both Microsoft and Sony systems will see this game. We’ll keep you posted on any more news regarding Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. For now, here’s an image of Big Boss from the trailer to whet your appetite. Are you excited for this game?
