New Character Series EV Joins Dungeon Defenders
Starting today, players can download the latest Dungeon Defenders character named Series EV. The Series EV is a robot that, unlike the previous DLC character, the Barbarian, focuses on using traps, long range weapons, and tower buffs to help defend Eternia Crystals. Here is the official press release for this latest DLC character:
Assembled long ago by a master mechanic within the depths of Sky City, the Series EV automaton has been powered back to life and is ready for action! By placing down an array of powerful Electronic Beams of any length, EV can decimate enemy forces across linear distances. She also can store Guns and Magic Staffs in her memory bank, reproducing their capabilities with her “Assimilable Range Cannon”, and can switch between any two such weapons on the fly. Furthermore, EV can consume vast quantities of Mana power to unleash a destructive Proton Charge Blast, and also project a Holographic Decoy which will attract & confuse enemies before exploding in their faces. Series EV may wish to be a real human being, but it’s her extreme robotic capabilities that make her such a devastating addition to any team of Defenders!

Honestly, I didn’t care much for the Barbarian character as he brought absolutely no new towers to the game. Fortunately, Series EV looks like she makes up for it with some pretty nifty towers. Even better, the character is available right now on Steam for $2.99 (A discount from the normal $3.99 that it will cost a week from now). What do you think of the newest character?
