Megaman X2 Review
Megaman X2 is a solid Megaman title, but not as memorable as the original.
It’s now time for part two of the extremely long series of reviews for the Megaman X franchise. Now after a perfect score on Megaman X, let’s find out if the sequel can live up to its predecessor.
Megaman X2 takes place six months after the events in X1, and not much has changed on the war between Reploids and Mavericks. X has now become the leader of the Maverick Hunters after the death of Zero, and X is on his way to a Reploid factory after tracking a Maverick there. Soon after he destroys all of the Mavericks in the factory he is contacted by a group of Mavericks that call themselves the X-hunters. They tell X that they have all of Zero’s parts, and to get them back he will have to find them within one of eight Maverick locations, and defeat all three of them. Continue reading
